I am Jay Zellmer and welcome to my law firm's website.
To "meet" me, and for a short video with my views on how to choose the "right" lawyer, please see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41rxmwyEX1s
I provide business and real estate legal services. I have never focused on any other area of law.
I think I am pretty smart, or at least that I have gotten that way after years of working at it. I work hard and do my best to treat my clients like gold.
I am absolutely committed to:
My clients are located throughout California and I serve them well from my office in Nevada County. My office has all the technological capacity of any bigger firm, but less overhead, which enables me to charge less for our services. I will travel whenever necessary or requested.
I have been been practicing law for over 40 years. I "paid my dues" in downtown San Francisco and was name partner in Lerner, Veit and Zellmer before venturing to start my own firm in 1990.
The firm handles most types of business and real estate disputes and transactional issues. I have had much experience and success in dispute resolution, including litigation and courtroom experience, arbitrations and mediations. I believe that it is best for the client if disputes can be resolved informally or through alternative dispute resolution processes. I am, however, fearless in litigation if that approach best serves my client.
Most significantly, I believe that the most important aspect of my service is my my desire to create and earn your trust. I recognize that most clients come to me in a difficult situation and I do everything I can to help. I will listen to you, keep you informed and always respond to you promptly. I do what I say I am going to do when I say I am going to do it.
I offer a free inital one-half hour of consultation for potential new clients. Please feel free to contact us if I might be able to assist you.
